You must know what it is and how it came about. Who is the creator of the exams and how you can go about obtaining the certifications. So here is a brief over view of the exams and how you can become a certified professional! So you are thinking of get your A+ certification. What is the the A+ certification? It is two exams to test your knowledge of microcomputers. They test your knowledge on hardware and software. If you pass these two exams you will be A+ certified. If you fail you will have to pay to retake the test. The test are composed by comptia who has set the standards for the test. By passing these test you are showing to possible employers, current employers, and others that you have the know how to repair and configure a microcomputer. The test is equal to six months of on the job training. Which in turn will allow you to make more money or just have a good hobby. Who is comptia it stands for Computing Technology Industry Association and is an association with over 7,500 companies in the computer industry. They provide certifications for the computer industry. They cover many subjects Besides the A+ certification. They also cover the Network+,I-Net+, and Server+. Comptia is a great starting point for anyone who plans to go on in the computer industry or just to brush up on your skills. It is a starting point for many of the higher certification out there. There is also the point that you don't have to upgrade with technology once you get certified you stay certified it is up to you to keep up with thing which is part of the job. There are many ways to get certified. You can do it through books,online study, through pay courses and what you know. For the best training I would suggest your local community college or a good tech school. But since you are here you are not looking to go that route or you are looking for extra study help!
